Coming in at year 2 and coming from a commerce diploma (back home)
its amazing how i’ve managed to make it to my current, last semester…
Majoring in lit and cultural studies, in particular the cultural studies bit…has been at times, frustrating, i think i have more questions then answers right now…
I find myself questioning, everything and anything that can be seen with the naked eye, stuff like… how did alphabets and words come about, why do we see red as red, who came up with classifications/categories
How did this whole issue of societal, hierachy etc come about…
As famously said by many lecturers, “the aim of this subject is to make you question, provoke thoughts, hopefully you end up learning something and…hey…if you end up being even more confused then when you first joined…its NORMAL!”
